Omar Chaudhary, M.D.
Dr. Chaudhary is a board certified ophthalmologist with specialized training in corneal and ocular surface disorders. He is an accomplished cataract surgeon and utilizes the latest techniques including ‘dropless’ cataract surgery, astigmatism correcting toric, and multifocal lenses.
Dr. Chaudhary is a featured physician in the American Academy of Ophthalmology’s Ask An EyeMD program and has been recognized by peers as a Top Doctor in Bethesda Magazine and also by Washingtonian Magazine. He also frequently provides educational lectures to other eye doctors in the Washington D.C. area on the treatment of corneal diseases.
He is the former Executive Director of the ADAMS Compassionate Healthcare Network, a free medical clinic in Northern Virginia, and he has been featured in the Washington Post for his charity medical care. He is an avid snowboarder and GoPro enthusiast. Unfortunately, he continues to root for the Duke University basketball team.
